Q) How much does it cost to enter the festival?
A) Accompanied children and teenagers under 18 years old are free. Adults 18 years and older pay $5. In return for the $5 entry fee patrons receive a ticket into our gate prize draw, which features a fabulous travel prize along with many other wonderful prizes. All entry fees collected will go towards making future festivals even better.
Q) Is there an ATM on site?
Yes, there will be an ATM on the site. Some exhibitors also provide EFTPOS facilities.
Q) Can I bring alcohol into the festival?
A) No, no alcohol is to be brought onto the premises. Due to liquor licensing requirements, only alcohol purchased on the premises may be consumed on the premises.
Q) Is the parking free?
A) Yes, there is ample FREE parking. Ample free parking will be available from Windermere road, opposite the entrance to Pirra. Pirra's neighbours will kindly open their paddocks to provide free public parking. Exit will be via Caddy's Road.
Q) Will there be baby feeding and changing facilities?
A) Yes, there will be a large, enclosed marquee. Change tables and chairs will be provided, so that you can care for your baby in private.
Q) Am I allowed to bring my pet?
A) No. The City of Greater Geelong prohibits animals from being in the presence of openly distributed food.
Q) Will there be disabled toilets on the premises?
A) Yes. Disabled toilets will be available at the Lara Food and Wine Festival.
Q) Where can I find lost property?
A) On the day of the festival lost property will be available at the Lara Food and Wine Festival administration marquee. After the festival lost property will be kept for one month and can be collected from the Lara Community Centre. Contact the Lara Community Centre on (03) 5282 2725.
